The Chicago Air and Water Show is one of the best weekends in Chicago. It’s also the most popular and largest free event in the country, drawing over two million people each year! This year marks the 60th annual show that has gone on and you can be people are already preparing.
SHOW DETAILS:
- FREE event for the entire city
- Show hours are from 10am – 3pm, August 18th and 19th
- Main view of the show is North Avenue Beach from Fullerton Ave to Oak Street
- VIP tickets are available from $70 – $125
- Parking packages are available for $35/day

What else do I need to know?
If you are interested in getting a prime spot to view all of the aircrafts, parachutes and boats, then we suggest arriving as early as possible. Several people camp out ahead of time just to secure prime space to gain the entire experience.
The performance schedule is not determined until the morning of the first day, but you can find a list of all the performers who will be featured right here.
This event is completely family friendly and offers a wide range of other spots around the beach to grab food, drinks and other entertainment if you are looking for alternative areas in addition to the beach.
